BUSAN -- Korean female singer Son Dam-bi has been cast in "Hype Nation," helmer Teddy Riley's hip-hop dance movie (Daily Variety, April 28).
Son trained as a dancer in L.A.
The
$25 million pic is being developed by Korean-American producer Young
Lee and will be released by Paramount. Pic also will feature American R&B
group B2K, Mya, Ginuwine and Whoopi Goldberg .
